What is a mini wedding?

A small or tiny version of a standard wedding.

Guest numbers range from 10 – 30.

An opportunity to do things differently.

A profoundly personal day.

A fun-sized ceremony, is usually more relaxed and informal than a standard wedding.

Why a mini wedding?

Reduced costs

Reduced stress, pressure, planning

A small wedding means far less planning [2- 6 months], organising and coordinating.

Smaller number of guests

If there are relationship issues between friends and/or family members, restricting guest numbers manages this problem and reduces your stress/anxiety on the day.

More options for venue or location with less guests.

Choosing a weekday would increase venue availability and

Why I love mini weddings

The couple spend a lot of their day together.  This may include getting ready together and having pre wedding photos.  The couple have lots of time with their guests and each other during the day.

The focus is on the celebration, the ceremony, and the intimacy of the moment.  Intimate weddings tend to be more informal and relaxed.

There is more opportunity to capture intimate moments, fun and light-heartedness.You’ll make amazing memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Small audience

If you don’t like being centre stage or the centre of attention, then saying “I do”  in front of a favourite few is much easier.

Mini wedding reception options

There may be certain rituals of a traditional wedding reception that you want to reduce or leave out.  These include the number of speeches, the cake, the first dance, tossing the bouquet.
